Simulation Of Axial Vibration Characteristics Of Marine Riser Under Suspension Mode, Chuan Wang, Li Jun, Zhenqiang Xie, Guorong Wang
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: The mechanical simulation model of vertical vibration of Marine riser under suspension mode has been established based on the basic principle of dynamics theory. In the model, the influence of heave movement and top tensioner is considered. The vibration equation is solved by the finite difference method to obtain the distribution of axial stress and displacement. Besides, the effects of suspension mode, buoyancy block, water depth, wall thickness and LMRP on the vertical vibration of riser are discussed. According to the results, the soft suspension mode is superior to the hard suspension mode. The buoyancy blocks will increase the …

Model And Simulation Of Taxi Market With E-Hailing Application, Tian Qiong, Jingtao Zhang
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: The emergence and popularity of e-hailing applications offer a new way for taxi drivers and passengers to communicate on line, which not only changes the behaviors of passengers and reduce the idle rate of taxi, but also brings the cost of information for taxis and passengers. Referring to the classic circular city model and combining with the characteristics of new way to take taxis and the cost of information, a model of taxi market with e-hailing application is formulated, which describes the behavior of passengers waiting for idle taxis and taxis cruising for un-served passengers. We provided an algorithm …

Simulation Of Automated Terminal With Dual-Rail Transport Trolley And Hollow Track Layout, Pengfei Zhou, Xiaowei Xing
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Container terminals with dual-rail transport trolley and hollow track layout (CTTH) are novel concept, for which a simulation model is developed with stochastic Petri nets. The simulation realization is discussed using Plant Simulation platform. A CTTH simulation system is developed to analyze its operational efficiency and parameter effects. Experiments show that CTTHs are more efficient than container terminals with automated RMGs. The study findings are helpful reference for the simulation models of automated container terminal and CTTH developments.
Simulation On Anti-Swing Of Container Cranes Based On Iterative Learning Control, Liang Gang, Yiming Zhao, Hengming Qin
Simulation On Anti-Swing Of Container Cranes Based On Iterative Learning Control, Liang Gang, Yiming Zhao, Hengming Qin
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: To achieve the purpose of reducing or even eliminating the fixed stop container’s swinging after container cranes positioning, thereby improving the efficiency of quayside container cranes, the PD-type iterative learning control is selected to perform simulation analysis. This selection is based on the analysis of dynamic properties of quayside container lifting systems and the qualities of the repetitive nature of the swing phase of the container. A fixed initial state is assumed, and the PD parameters are determined after several debugging tasks. Based on Simulink blocks, the entire iterative learning controller model is established to design lifting systems of …
