The article is devoted to the reconstruction and construction of vertical drainage wells. The use of vertical drainage wells is characterized by a decrease in the level of groundwater. The article presents data and typical regions of the use of vertical drainage wells.Also presented are mechanical, physical and chemical methods of well cleaning in practice. The information on the design and construction of vertical drainage wells is described. The article discusses the properties of cement stone with the use of complex chemical additives to improve the technology for the production of sleepers from prestressed concrete. With the use of superplasticizer, the volume of intergranular space and, consequently, capillary porosity, which is a determining factor for both strength and frost resistance and corrosion resistance of concrete, are significantly reduced. In the process of train traffic on the rolling surface of the rail head are formed bumps and fatigue defects, constant dynamic loads lead to the frustration the upper structure of the path. In this article the analyzes integral indicators of the rolling surface of the rails (long waves, medium waves, short waves) on the section of speed and high-speed train traffic for assess the condition of rails in transit. Problems with the formation of wave-like irregularities on the surface of the rails are identified, promising directions in solving this problem are indicated.
