Defining a new approach to accounting, analysis and reduction of unproductive losses in the operation of the sorting station. The methods of factor analysis are applied, the construction of a map of value creation flows. An expression is given for determining the values of unproductive losses in the operation of the station. This article discusses the issues of systematization of factors affecting the main quality indicator of the operation of the sorting station. The methods of system and factor analysis and statistical data processing are used. The implementation of the established norms of the time spent by cars at the sorting station is investigated. The methods of statistical data processing and comparison of the time spent at the station with the established scheduled tasks were used. The structure of the time spent by transit cars with processing at the sorting station is analyzed. An element-by-element analysis of the time of transit cars with processing is carried out.
