The aim of this work is to develop a sensitive, selective and rapid method for the determination of nickel ions using the monoammonium salt of glycyrrhizic acid as an analytical reagent. There obtained IR spectra of the nickel diglycyrrhizinate complex. A simple and express spectral method for determination of the nickel ion is presented. The optimal conditions for the determination of the nickel ion are found.
