Mathematical Modeling For Dental Decay Prevention In Children And Adolescents, Mahdiyeh Soltaninejad
Dissertations
The high prevalence of dental caries among children and adolescents, especially those from lower socio-economic backgrounds, is a significant nationwide health concern. Early prevention, such as dental sealants and fluoride varnish (FV), is essential, but access to this care remains limited and disparate. In this research, a national dataset is utilized to assess sealants' reach and effectiveness in preventing tooth decay, particularly focusing on 2nd molars that emerge during early adolescence, a current gap in the knowledge base. FV is recommended to be delivered during medical well-child visits to children who are not seeing a dentist. Challenges and facilitators in …

Introduction: Lectures are still the main pedagogical tool in universities. The aim of this study was to evaluate student satisfaction with lectures and to analyze the factors behind student absenteeism.
Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out among dental student by a voluntary, anonymous self-administered questionnaire with open and closed question. Statistical analysis was performed by SPSS version 25 and the Chi2 test was used to compare percentages, with a significance level of p

Introduction
The periapical lesions represent a complex group. Granulomas and cysts represent the two most frequent forms in routine clinical practice.
Aim: Highlight the diagnostic accuracy of CBCT imaging in the differential diagnosis between a cyst and a granuloma compared to histopathological examination as a reference technique.
Materials and Methods:
Our literature search involved articles published in the following databases: PubMed, Cochrane, science direct and Google scholar.
Our intention was to review recent articles from the last 5 years and to select studies conducted in significantly changed socio-medical contexts that could have a positive impact on the validity of our …
