Radiopaque Activity Of Iodine Containing Methylene-Bis-Carbamate, Baltabaev Ubaydulla, Djuraev Abdukahhor, Abduvakilov Jahongir, Abdullaeva Matluba

CHEMISTRY AND CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

Considering that many derivatives of bis carbamates have different biological activity, it was intuitive to produce a targeted synthesis of new derivatives of bis carbamates by the interaction of hexamethylene diisocyanate with 3,5-diode-4-hydroxybenzoic acid and 2,4,6-triiodophenol (1: 2 mol, respectively) in freshly distilled dry pyridine at 95-110 оC for 6 hours, the corresponding derivatives were obtained - methylene bis carbamates. Experimental studies have been conducted to identify the acute toxicity and radiopaque properties of the synthesized new N, -hexamethylene bis (2,6-diode-4-carboxyphenylcarbamate).

Synthesis And Characterization Of Free-Stand Graphene/Silver Nanowire/Graphene Nano Composite As Transparent Conductive Film With Enhanced Stiffness, Chuanrui Guo, Yanxiao Li, Yanping Zhu, Chenglin Wu, Genda Chen

Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Faculty Research & Creative Works

As-grown graphene via chemical vapor deposition (CVD) has potential defects, cracks, and disordered grain boundaries induced by the synthesis and transfer process. Graphene/silver nanowire/graphene (Gr/AgNW/Gr) sandwich composite has been proposed to overcome these drawbacks significantly as the AgNW network can provide extra connections on graphene layers to enhance the stiffness and electrical conductivity. However, the existing substrate (polyethylene terephthalate (PET), glass, silicon, and so on) for composite production limits its application and mechanics behavior study. In this work, a vacuum annealing method is proposed and validated to synthesize the free-stand Gr/AgNW/Gr nanocomposite film on transmission electron microscopy (TEM) grids. AgNW …

Investigation Of Oxidized Carbon Supported Au Catalysts Synthesized Via Strong Electrostatic Adsorption Of Au(En)2Cl3 For The Hydrochlorination Of Acetylene To Vinyl Chloride Monomer, Sean Reginald Noble

Theses and Dissertations

Over 20 million tons of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) is produced every year using acetylene hydrochlorination using a supported mercuric chloride catalyst. During this process mercury is reduced and sublimes into the environment harming all living animals and humans, so carbon-supported Au catalysts have been developed in attempts to replace it. Various techniques have been used to make these catalysts including several variations of dry impregnation. In this study we investigate the ability of Strong Electrostatic Adsorption (SEA) of Au(en)2Cl3 onto various supports to demonstrate the ability to rationally and consistently synthesize gold catalysts with ultra-small particle …

Steady Algorithms For Synthesis Of Multidimensional Controlling Systems With Incomplete Information About The Object State, Uktam Farkhodovich Mamirov

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

In this paper, questions of forming and creation of steady synthesis algorithms of multidimensional controlling systems at incomplete information on object status are considered. It is shown that the matrix of feedback coupling on a status at the complete information is not determined. The different algorithms of steady calculation of a matrix pseudo-inverse to the matrix of outputs using these or those decomposition of matrixes are analyzed. Algorithms of iterative specification of a required solution of "skeletal" decomposition are given. The given expressions allow synthesizing the simplified computing procedures of synthesis of multidimensional controlling systems at incomplete information on object …

An Efficient Reliability Simulation Tool For Lifetime-Aware Analog Circuit Synthesis, Engi̇n Afacan Jan 2020

An Efficient Reliability Simulation Tool For Lifetime-Aware Analog Circuit Synthesis, Engi̇n Afacan

Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences

Time-dependent degradation (aging) has become more severe in modern CMOS technologies. Therefore, it is highly critical to capture the variation effects and design reliable circuits against aging. Simulation of time-dependent variations is quite complicated since the degradation is a function of time, where the step count of simulation directly affects the accuracy and the efficiency of the analysis. Commercial simulator tools use a constant step count during reliability simulations, in which choosing a large step count degrades the efficiency whereas keeping it small may result in accuracy problems. To overcome this bottleneck, a couple of different approaches have been proposed …

Review Of Established And Emergent Methods For The Production Of C4 Olefins, James Matthew Koval Jan 2020

Review Of Established And Emergent Methods For The Production Of C4 Olefins, James Matthew Koval

Graduate Theses, Dissertations, and Problem Reports

Current production of C4 olefins is dominated by naphtha cracking and butane dehydrogenation, but significant research interest is developing in alternate feedstocks due to an abundance of inexpensive natural gas and bioethanol. The current C4 olefin production methods are costly, make use of already-depleted petroleum resources, and are often hazardous to workers, which forms the impetus for investigation into alternative methods and assessment of their viability as a future means of olefin production. Methods of natural gas conversion to higher order hydrocarbons are discussed, including Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and oxidative methane coupling, each of which could form the first …
