Power Efficient Optimized Arithmetic And Logic Unit Design On Fpga, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Siddharth Singh Parihar, Prof. Rajni Gupta Gupta

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

This paper deals with low power ALU design and its implementation on 90nm Spartan 3 FPGA. Most of power is consumed in ALU in any processor and hence reduction in ALU power is needed. In this work, we have designed a low power ALU. To reduce dynamic power consumption we disabled the blocks which are not needed in currently selected operation. Also hardware is reused; this will cut down the FPGA resource usage and also reduce the power consumption. By using these methods dynamic power consumption is reduced and less FPGA resources were consumed.

Mems Based Microneedle Actuator With Piezoresistive Force Feedback System For Biomedical Applications, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Ashen Wijesiri, Y.W.R. Amarasinghe

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

This paper presents a novel design of MEMS based microneedle actuator with force feedback system which can be used for biomedical applications such as cell manipulation, drug delivery and DNA injection. The actuation mechanism of microneedle is driven by two electrostatic comb actuators. Since the manipulated objects are very sensitive, and can be easily damaged, it’s essential to have a force feedback system in the micro actuator to avoid unnecessary deformations. Piezoresistive sensing elements are used for the force feedback of the system. The proposed system was simulated using COMSOL Multiphysics software considering the anisotropic material properties and the nonlinear …

Reliability is one of the highly significant quality indicators of object oriented software. Its proper measurement or evaluation, constantly facilitate and improve the software development process. On the other hand, reliability has always been a mysterious theory and its truthful measurement or evaluation is a complex exercise. Researchers and practitioners have always argued that reliability should be considered as a key feature in order to promise the quality software. A perfect measure of software quality fully depends on reliability measurement, and as an outcome estimating reliability is a complex problem attracting significant research consideration. This review paper presents the results …

Prediction Performance And Generalization Of The Empirical Estimation Of Rockmass Deformation Modulus Based On Rockmass Classification Systems, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Muhammad Tahir, Noor Mohammad

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

The deformation modulus of rock mass can either be measured using in-situ field tests or estimated empirically. However, the empirical method is an attractive and open choice for researchers to estimate the deformation modulus of rock mass economically, efficiently and accurately and many researchers have proposed empirical equations for estimation the deformation modulus of rock mass based rock mass classification systems. In this paper attempt has been made to collect and review some these published empirical equations developed so far based on Rock Mass Rating, Geological Strength Index, and Q rock mass classification systems. These empirical equations based on each …

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

Researches on the Photovoltaic (PV) generation are extensively increasing, since it is considered as an essentially indefatigable and broadly available energy resources. Hence, the role of distributed generation i.e. solar energy based generation is increasingly being recognized as a supplement and an alternative to large conventional central power supply but mostly in off-grid areas rather than cities, whereas centralized economic system that solely depends on cities is hampered due to frequent energy deficiency. To extenuate these problems, this paper proposes an optimized design of single phase grid-tied PV system without storage which is employed with transformer-less power circuits. Most precisely …

The calculation, which assume local thermodynamic equilibrium (LTE) are performed in the temperature range from 500 to 12000 K. We use the Gibbs free energy minimization method to determine the equilibrium composition of the plasmas, which is necessary to calculate the transport coefficients. We use the Chapman-Enskog method to calculate the transport coefficients. The results are presented and discussed according to the rate of water vapor. The results of the total thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity show in particular that the increasing of …

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) have gained main attraction in providing flexible network services and support to the end users. There are many efforts seen to design robust routing protocol for WMNs and solutions are proposed to standardized channel allocation techniques. There are various approaches dedicated to maximize the network though put and minimize network interface. Existing multi radio multi channel routing protocols utilize only single channel situation and static channel allocation degrades the performance of the WMNs. The challenge is to allocate channel without link interference and to improve end-to-end throughput efficiency in multipath routing for WMNs. In this paper, …

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

The rapid development in the software component technology increases the number of components, reasonable component classification is the foundation to achieve effective retrieval. The former methods like faceted classification and full text retrieval methods and some traditional methods have always some subjective factors to achieve it. The user is not able to satisfy with these methods. So from the point of user requirements, grade strategy is introduced, which gives each facet different weight, and the similarity between the components. A component clustering algorithm based on the grade strategy is proposed. They prove that component clustering algorithm based on the grade …

The choice of repair of slope depends on site conditions and cost. This includes reducing the slope, installing horizontal drains, soil nailing and providing stability by structural methods. All these methods have their limitations and some are very costly. Another alternative is the electrokinetic stabilization of slopes. EKG reinforcement or soil nails not only provide reinforcement, but also increase the shear strength of the soil in which they are placed as well as improving soil-reinforcement bond. The development of EKG materials offers slope stabilisation of embankments and cuttings in fine grained soils, which will significantly increase the factor of safety …
