“The small picture” - make an advanced autonomous /driverless car. Lots of algorithms, sensors, computers and other gizmos. Now get it to take you to work, park itself and seamlessly run your family errands around the city. Taking grandma to the doctor for the medical check-up, getting the children from school, etc. With Radar, Lidar and other sensors, the car steering with ease through the traffic, no driver to pay, that is another plus, fuel/energy efficiency, yet another plus. It is a bold new world and the sky is the limit. Without the resolution of “small picture” issues there is …

The Collaborative Planning Model (CPM) supports human planners in managing planning information and facilitating automated reasoning. It aims to make plans 'alive' by digitizing planning concepts to facilitate their dynamic use, modification, dissemination, and reuse.
Computation Intelligence Method To Find Generic Non-Coding Rna Search Models, Jennifer A. Smith
Computation Intelligence Method To Find Generic Non-Coding Rna Search Models, Jennifer A. Smith
Jennifer A. Smith
Fairly effective methods exist for finding new noncoding RNA genes using search models based on known families of ncRNA genes (for example covariance models). However, these models only find new members of the existing families and are not useful in finding potential members of novel ncRNA families. Other problems with family-specific search include large processing requirements, ambiguity in defining which sequences form a family and lack of sufficient numbers of known sequences to properly estimate model parameters. An ncRNA search model is proposed which includes a collection of non-overlapping RNA hairpin structure covariance models. The hairpin models are chosen from …

In this paper the distribution electric system reliability is recognized like an artificial intelligence problem. How this idea is applied in evaluation of reliability is detailed. Concepts as Intelligence Matrix and Inter-feeder Route are defined. From the last one a reliability prediction strategy for medium voltage networks is proposed and tested.
