Implementation Of Pv System With Two Inductor Buck Boost Converter, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, T. Jeevanandham, M. Raja

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

The project proposes a new converter for photovoltaic system which is substantially high performance oriented. Furthermore, the lack of batteries replacement water pumping systems without the use of chemicals are responsible for the failure of such systems in isolated areas. The converter is designed to drive a three-phase induction motor directly from photovoltaic system. The majority of commercial systems use low-voltage (PV) energy. The use of three-phase induction motor presents a suitable replacement of dc motor though by the use of dc motor we can directly drive by means of converter dc supply, but due to its lack of performance …

A wireless LAN is a LAN that uses the air as a medium of transmission to permit data transmission among fixed, or moving computers. The MAC layer of 802.11 employs the carrier sense multiple access/collision avoidance (CSMA/CA) to provide reliable frame transmission. This paper presents the impact of CSMA/CA on the performance of IEEE 802.11 networks. We measure the IEEE 802.11 wireless network throughput from a number of hosts to the access point (AP). The paper shows the factors that lead the difference between theoretical and measured throughput.

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

For a primary substation (P/S), there are many typical methods to control voltage and reactive power such as adjusting the generator mode, switching shunt capacitor (SC), adjusting on-load tap changer (OLTC), and switching shunt reactor (SR). In this study, a graphical user interface (GUI) is designed combining with nine-area diagram to observe the relationship between voltage and reactive power in a P/S. This GUI not only predicts the effect to dispatchers in short time but also analyzes the sensitivity parameters. Field measurement data were analyzed. Simulation results confirmed the feasibility of compensating the reactive power and adjusting voltage simultaneously.

System redundancy in aircraft is very important as it ensures faulty components would not jeopardize the safety of crew and passengers. High priority system such as flight control computers, instruments system and controller for control surface mechanism have double or triple redundancy to maintain the aircraft safety. While full scale aircraft has multiple redundancy system installed, small unmanned aerial vehicle on the other hand do not have these system installed due to cost and weight. Propulsion, either fuel or electric powered and control surface movement are prone to damage due to wear and tear of mechanical movement. Severe damage could …

Haze is generally phenomenon that an atmospheric stuff that greatly degrades the visibility of outdoor scenes. This phenomenon occurs due to the atmosphere constituent parts that absorb and scatter the light. We use the spread map of image in terms of intensity of image except a continuous region which has no edge information. The scheme performs a per-pixel manipulation, which is direct to implement, and then apply the Directed filter to improve the image quality. The simulation results demonstrate the comparative results and even better than the more complex state-of-the-art techniques, having the advantage of being appropriate for real-time applications

The deformation modulus of rock mass can either be measured using in-situ field tests or estimated empirically. However, the empirical method is an attractive and open choice for researchers to estimate the deformation modulus of rock mass economically, efficiently and accurately and many researchers have proposed empirical equations for estimation the deformation modulus of rock mass based rock mass classification systems. In this paper attempt has been made to collect and review some these published empirical equations developed so far based on Rock Mass Rating, Geological Strength Index, and Q rock mass classification systems. These empirical equations based on each …

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

Researches on the Photovoltaic (PV) generation are extensively increasing, since it is considered as an essentially indefatigable and broadly available energy resources. Hence, the role of distributed generation i.e. solar energy based generation is increasingly being recognized as a supplement and an alternative to large conventional central power supply but mostly in off-grid areas rather than cities, whereas centralized economic system that solely depends on cities is hampered due to frequent energy deficiency. To extenuate these problems, this paper proposes an optimized design of single phase grid-tied PV system without storage which is employed with transformer-less power circuits. Most precisely …

Synchro-Phasors In Power System, Innovative Research Publications Irp India

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

The Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) is considered to be one of the most important measuring devices in the future of power system. The difference comes from its unique ability to provide synchronized phasor measurements of voltages and currents from widely dispersed locations in an electric power grid called synchrophasor technology .In SCADA system, the measured quantities remain constant during the data gathering process. Hence the dynamic characteristics of the power system cannot be estimated. Synchrophasor technology is used to overcome this drawback. The Global Positioning Satellite(GPS) is used for synchronisation between the PMUs at different places, which receive the signal …
