Research On Building Mechanism Model Simulation In Energy-Saving Control, Bai Yang, Decheng Yuan, Li Ling

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: In the existing building system, the energy consumption is huge, the control system is complex, and the electricity cost is high. In order to reduce the cost of electricity, the mechanism model of the building is established for simulation. The accuracy of the model is verified by simulation to confirm the model applicability to the building system. Comparing the constant electricity price with the time-varying electricity price, the system under the model predictive control can response to the price change of electricity with time and can achieve the cost control and energy-saving.

Transformation Model With Constraints For High Accuracy Of 2d-3d Building Registration In Aerial Imagery, Guoqing Zhou, Qingli Luo, Wenhan Xie, Tao Yue, Jingjin Huang, Yuzhong Shen

Computational Modeling & Simulation Engineering Faculty Publications

This paper proposes a novel rigorous transformation model for 2D-3D registration to address the difficult problem of obtaining a sufficient number of well-distributed ground control points (GCPs) in urban areas with tall buildings. The proposed model applies two types of geometric constraints, co-planarity and perpendicularity, to the conventional photogrammetric collinearity model. Both types of geometric information are directly obtained from geometric building structures, with which the geometric constraints are automatically created and combined into the conventional transformation model. A test field located in downtown Denver, Colorado, is used to evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the proposed method. The comparison …

Assessment Of Energy Performance Certificate Systems: A Case Study For Residential Buildings In Turkey, Kenan Yi̇ği̇t, Bora Acarkan Jan 2016

Assessment Of Energy Performance Certificate Systems: A Case Study For Residential Buildings In Turkey, Kenan Yi̇ği̇t, Bora Acarkan

Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences

The importance of sustainable development and energy efficiency efforts has increased in the construction sector. Energy-saving efforts for buildings have become more important due to the global energy crisis, and energy rating systems have been developed globally for assessment of energy performance. In this study, international green building certificate and energy performance certificate (EPC) systems are presented. The official EPC system for buildings in Turkey is illustrated with case studies. Energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from residential buildings are calculated using the official national software, which is called BEP-TR. The impact of lighting on the total energy performance of …
