The purpose of this problem was to compare two orders of presentation in the Mechanical Drawing One classes of Turner High School, Kansas City, Kansas, in order to determine the relative effectiveness or superiority of each. More specifically, was it more effective to teach orthographic projection first, followed by isometric projection; or was it a better practice to teach isometric projection first, followed by orthographic projection? The aim of this study was to ascertain the effect on achievement in mechanical drawing resulting from these two methods of procedure.
