The main objective of this study is to present to those who may be interested a means of objectively evaluating (grading) industrial art projects. The means used in this study were project rating and quality scales. The information that was used in developing this study was acquired through research in the library on the campus of Kansas State Teachers College, Pittsburg, Kansas, and experiments carried out on the same campus.

The purpose of this thesis was to determine the occupational implications of an industrial arts curriculum when used as terminal education. Questionnaires were sent to: past students, selected to eliminate those having more than a high school education and those working in jobs not related to industrial arts training; employers selected on the basis of job requirements and number of employees; and state teachers chosen at random from all points of the state regardless of school size.
