A mixed methods study sought to assess student knowledge of signs, risk factors, and campus services available for mental health disorders. A survey was completed by 831 students and three focus groups were conducted. Respondents felt more knowledgeable about depression than about anxiety and sleep disorders. Graduate students and seniors had a keener awareness of risk factors for anxiety and sophomores were in the greatest danger of failing to recognize these risks. Males often failed to recognize signs and risk factors for mental health problems. Menopause is the universal event that each woman will experience it if they survive into midlife. Although most women transition to menopause without experiencing psychological problems, some may develop a new onset of depression during this stage of life. Parents with autistic children usually are advised to reduce depression in order to improve their mental health. However, studies on depression among parents of autistic children in Jordan are limited. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the effect of group Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) among parents of autistics children in Jordan. An announcement was made for a group cognitive behavioral therapy at three special needs centers in Irbid- Jordan and BDI-II was administrated to 87 parents.
