Guidance is the key to successful education. For maximum learning, growth, and development, the "spirit" of guidance must permeate the school board, the administration, and every aspect of the educational program. The subject of this research paper was selected for three reasons. First was the sense of responsibility toward children. It is the writer's firm conviction that without genuine Human Relations atmosphere some child is being deprived of his opportunity for complete development. The purpose of this study was (1) to review the literature concerning counselor-parent interview and methods of test interpretation; (2) to report a personal survey of 28 practicing counselors designed to sample the present-day practices of counselor-parent interview and test interpretation; (3) to suggest a method worked out by one school district which has proved effective to handle test interpretation.
