Is Problem-Solving An Effective College Mathematics Teaching Strategy?, Tommie Hugh Denson
Theses Digitization Project
This study will provide instructors with more data on which method of teaching is best for students' success in a remedial college mathematics course by directly comparing problem-based learning to traditional instruction. Assessment scores and positive change in students' attitude toward mathematics will determine student success.
