Online learning has become more popular during the Covid-19 pandemic, including in mathematics. However, many educators have raised concerns whether there are critical factors determining the mathematics achievement during online learning. This study examines online learning readiness (OLR), math anxiety (MA), online platforms used in learning (Zoom Meeting and Google Classroom) and gender as determinants of mathematics achievement students in online learning. The research aims to analyze narratively critical thinking and communication skills using the Android-based TransGeo application on geometry transformation in junior high school. This study uses a qualitative with a descriptive method obtained from tests and interviews. The test contains contextual problems in the android application, while the interviews are based on student test answers. These included problem-solving skills, critical thinking, understanding, and mathematical reasoning. This study employs a quantitative approach with a Meta-Analysis method. Data collected was from experimental research connected to the application of discovery learning models to the mathematical abilities of elementary, junior high school, and high school students in papers indexed from 2012 to 2021. As the research is qualitatively discussed, ethnographic design is appropriately implemented with observation, interviews, and documentation for collecting data. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Case-Based Learning (CBL) are two typical learning approaches that involve problem-solving activities, likely to encourage students' mathematical connection abilities. This study aimed to describe the differences in mathematical connection ability between students studying with the PBL and those who used the CBL approach. Continuity and differentiability are concepts that students must master to effectively learn and solve problems in a variety of contexts. Thus, this study sought to elicit students' interpretations of the relationship between continuity and differentiability, particularly in graphic problems. Through a qualitative approach, this study involved 195 third-year undergraduate students from various Indonesian universities. The focus for this research paper was to explore which math manipulatives are the most effective for each strand of the B.E.S.T. standards. The review of literature provided information about the history of math manipulatives, what are math manipulatives, B.E.S.T. standards, and the six strands. A review of the most commonly used math manipulatives was part of the literature viewed during the research process in order to see how those manipulatives can be connected to the B.E.S.T. standards, so that students can effectively understand more abstract concepts.

We conducted a qualitative review of the research literature on STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) related to high school students with disabilities (SWD). We selected and analyzed 53 articles to answer two questions: (1) How are high-school SWD prepared for careers in STEM? (2) How are educators prepared to support high-school SWD for opportunities in STEM? In answering the first question, four qualitative themes emerged: (a) barriers to STEM, (b) increasing STEM opportunities, (c) STEM readiness in college and career, and (d) STEM identity.
