The Role Of Digital Educational Resources In Teaching The Russian Language To Pupils In Uzbek-Teaching Schools, Feruza Sunnatovna Kasymova
Mental Enlightenment Scientific-Methodological Journal
The DER (digital educational resources) set is the resources necessary for organizing the educational process and presented in digital form, selected in accordance with the content of a particular textbook, "tied" to lesson planning and provided with the necessary methodological recommendations. The greatest interest among students is the use of an interactive rule, diagram, drawing, poster, where the explanation opens with a mouse click and can be hidden back. Thanks to this feature, the teacher gets additional opportunities when explaining new material: it is possible to focus the attention of students on the information that is most significant at this …

Journal of Prison Education and Reentry (2014-2023)
Providing education to prisoners while in jail is a win-win situation for both prisoners and society. For prisoners, the educational experiences in jail reduce their mental strain, isolation, and stress due to incarceration and simultaneously make them employment ready after their release from prison. Education helps prisoners become fit to earn on their own, and thereby reduces the chances of returning to jail (recidivism). Therefore, through educational experiences, the government saves money on prisoners' maintenance and earns taxes from their later employment. Providing education to prisoners, especially increasing efforts to provide quality education, such as is available to common students, …

Dusty But Mighty: Using Radio In The Critical Media Literacy Classroom, Miglena S. Todorova
Journal of Media Literacy Education
In a culture dominated by images, what is the capacity of radio-making to enact the ideals and meet the objectives of critical medial literacy education that empowers learners and expands democracy? This article conceptualizes a radio-based critical media literacy approach drawing upon a course project called “Borderless Radio,” where fifty-two students in a large urban Canadian university produced short radio programs narrating how they view and experience “multiculturalism.” Radio making in the classroom is soundscaping that politicizes intimacy, disrupts hegemonic discourses, and allows for teaching and learning to transgress; yet it also illuminates the ways in which self-positionality poses limitations …

Exposure Perception As A Key Indicator Of Risk Perception And Acceptance Of Sources Of Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Fields, Frederik Freudenstein, Peter M. Wiedemann, Tim Brown
Faculty of Social Sciences - Papers (Archive)
The presented survey was conducted in six European countries as an online study. A total of 2454 subjects participated. Two main research questions were investigated: firstly, how does the cognitive, moral, and affective framing of radio frequency electromagnetic field (RF EMF) exposure perception influence RF EMF risk perception? Secondly, can the deployment of mobile phone base stations have greater acceptance with RF EMF exposure reduction? The findings with respect to the first question clearly indicated that the cognitive framed exposure perception is the main determinant of RF EMF risk perception. The concomitant sensitivity to exposure strength offers an opportunity to …
