The Air Race Classic (ARC) is an all-female Visual Flight Rules air race held each June. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Beach (ERAU-DB) has had primarily student race teams participate and frequently place strongly in the ARC since 1996. The ERAU-DB Meteorology Program has provided successful weather support to ERAU-DB race team(s) for the past decade, including as the terminus host institution in 2016. In 2014, the weather support was formalized as a three-credit interdisciplinary summer course, incorporating a mix of aeronautical science (pilot), dispatch, and meteorology students. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offers a minor course of study in cybersecurity as an option in our undergraduate Homeland Security program. Since the students are, by and large, social scientists, the focus of the program is to build hyper-awareness of how cybersecurity integrates within their professional aspirations rather than to provide cybersecurity career-level proficiency. Assessing student learning of the technical aspects cannot be performed using traditional tests, as they would not properly measure what the students are learning in a practical sense. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) พัฒนาชุดกิจกรรมทางคณิตศาสตร์ตามแนวคิดการใช้บริบทเป็นฐานร่วมกับการสร้างแบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์ และ (2) ศึกษาคุณภาพของชุดกิจกรรมทางคณิตศาสตร์โดย (2.1.) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงความรู้คณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนก่อนการทดลอง ระหว่างการทดลอง และหลังการทดลอง (2.2.) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงความรู้คณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนหลังการทดลองกับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม (2.3.) เปรียบเทียบเจตคติต่อวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนก่อนการทดลองและหลังการทดลอง และ (2.4.) ศึกษาพัฒนาการของความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงความรู้คณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนก่อนการทดลอง ระหว่างการทดลอง และหลังการทดลอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2560 จำนวน 30 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการทดลอง คือ ชุดกิจกรรมทางคณิตศาสตร์ตามแนวคิดการใช้บริบทเป็นฐานร่วมกับการสร้างแบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ (1) แบบวัดความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงความรู้คณิตศาสตร์ ฉบับก่อนการทดลอง ระหว่างการทดลอง และหลังการทดลอง (2) แบบสัมภาษณ์การเชื่อมโยงความรู้คณิตศาสตร์ (3) แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการเชื่อมโยงความรู้คณิตศาสตร์ และ (4) แบบวัดเจตคติต่อวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิตส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ชุดกิจกรรมทางคณิตศาสตร์ที่พัฒนาขึ้น เน้นการนำสถานการณ์หรือประเด็นปัญหาในชีวิตจริงมาเป็นสถานการณ์ปัญหาให้นักเรียนได้คิดและสร้างแบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์ เพื่อทำความเข้าใจสถานการณ์ปัญหาและนำไปสู่การแก้ปัญหา 2) ความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงความรู้คณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนก่อนการทดลอง ระหว่างการทดลองและหลังการทดลองแตกต่างกัน โดยที่ระหว่างการทดลองและหลังการทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลอง และหลังการทดลองสูงกว่าระหว่างการทดลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 3) ความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงความรู้คณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนหลังการทดลองสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ70 ของคะแนนเต็ม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 4) เจตคติต่อวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนหลังการทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 5) พัฒนาการของความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงความรู้คณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนเปลี่ยนแปลงไปในทางที่ดีขึ้นตามลำดับ

ผลการวิจัยสรุปดังนี้
1) นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายที่เรียนด้วยการจัดการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้วงจรการเรียนรู้แบบการทำนายและอภิปรายเป็นฐานมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยมโนทัศน์ชีววิทยาคิดเป็นร้อยละ 51.93 จัดอยู่ในระดับผ่านเกณฑ์ ซึ่งต่ำกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้คือร้อยละ 70
2) นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายที่เรียนด้วยการจัดการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้วงจรการเรียนรู้แบบการทำนายและอภิปรายเป็นฐานมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยมโนทัศน์ชีววิทยาสูงกว่านักเรียนกลุ่มที่เรียนด้วยการจัดการเรียนการสอนแบบทั่วไปอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
3) นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายที่เรียนด้วยการจัดการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้วงจรการเรียนรู้แบบการทำนายและอภิปรายเป็นฐานมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยการให้เหตุผลด้านความสัมพันธ์หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์คือ (1) เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการคิดเชิงระบบของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายหลังเรียนของนักเรียนที่เรียนชีววิทยารูปแบบผสานรวม (2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคิดเชิงระบบระหว่างนักเรียนที่เรียนชีววิทยาด้วยรูปแบบผสานรวมกับนักเรียนที่เรียนชีววิทยาแบบทั่วไป และ (3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความคงทนในการเรียนรู้ระหว่างนักเรียนที่เรียนชีววิทยาด้วยรูปแบบผสานรวมกับนักเรียนที่เรียนชีววิทยาแบบทั่วไป ประชากร คือ นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายจากโรงเรียนขนาดใหญ่ในกรุงเทพมหานคร กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 แผนการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์และคณิตศาสตร์ จำนวน 60 คน ประกอบด้วยนักเรียนกลุ่มทดลองที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ชีววิทยาด้วยรูปแบบผสานรวม จำนวน 32 คน และกลุ่มควบคุมที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ชีววิทยาแบบทั่วไป จำนวน 28 คน การวิจัยดำเนินการในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2559 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ (1) แบบประเมินการคิดเชิงระบบ และ (2) แบบสอบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนชีววิทยา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเฉลี่ยร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบที ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. นักเรียนกลุ่มทดลองมีความสามารถในการคิดเชิงระบบอยู่ในระดับพื้นฐาน 2. นักเรียนกลุ่มทดลองมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยแผนผังมโนทัศน์การคิดเชิงระบบสูงกว่านักเรียนกลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 3. นักเรียนกลุ่มทดลองมีความคงทนในการเรียนรู้ ส่วนนักเรียนกลุ่มควบคุมไม่มีความคงทนในการเรียนรู้ หลังทำการทดสอบ 2 ครั้งเมื่อผ่านไป 5 สัปดาห์

Background: Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) countries are faced with the challenge of educating a critical mass of occupational therapists (OTs) and physiotherapists (PTs) to meet the growing demand for health and rehabilitation services. The World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT) and World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT) have argued for the need of graduate-level training for OTs and PTs for decades. In this paper we use dynamic geometry software to investigate a class of tilings called k-uniform tilings or tessellations. A tiling consisting of regular polygons whose vertices belong to k-transitivity classes under the action of its symmetry group (vertex-k-transitive) is said to be k-uniform. We also present constructions of tilings consisting of irregular polygons that are vertex-k-transitive.

The effectiveness of science teaching in primary school is dependent upon teachers’ self-efficacy to teach science. Low self-efficacy has been linked to avoidance of teaching primary science; therefore, preservice teacher self-efficacy requires fostering to have graduates keen to teach primary science. Through an embedded mixed method intrinsic-case study, this research explored the impact of postgraduate preservice primary science education on students’ self-efficacy.
