Exploring Mental State Reasoning As A Social-Cognitive Mechanism For Social Loafing In Children., Robert Thompson, Bill Thornton

The authors explored mental-state reasoning ability among 72 preschoolers (ages 3-5 years) as a possible developmental mechanism for the well-known social loafing effect: diminished individual effort in a collaborative task. The authors expected that older children would outperform young children on standard mental-state reasoning tests and that they would display greater social loafing than younger children.

This study provides guidance to policy-makers about the standards that might be appropriate for accrediting teacher education programs. The study was commissioned by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), a statutory body established in 2001 by the Victorian state government with responsibility for the registration (licensing) of teachers and the accreditation of teacher education programs. The study investigated the characteristics of effective initial teacher education programs, as reported by teachers who have just finished their first year of teaching. Each year, graduates of Australian higher education institutions who have completed a doctoral or research masters degree are invited by their institution and Graduate Careers Australia (GCA) to respond to the Postgraduate Research Experience Questionnaire (PREQ) about four months after graduation. This report presents the results from the seventh PREQ survey conducted since 1999. The PREQ asks graduates to respond to 28 statements about seven aspects of their research degree. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi budi pekerti siswa SMU Negeri. Untuk itu perlu dirumuskan langkah-langkah pengembangan instrumen dan menyelidiki karakteristik instrumen tersebut.

Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMU Negeri di Kabupaten Bantul. Penentuan banyaknya sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive sampling sesuai dengan tujuan pengembangan. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah inventory Data dianalisis dengan analisis faktor.

Hasil analisis data uji coba pengembangan Instrumen adalah: 1) Uji coba pertama dengan 85 butir, menunjukkan angka KMO and bartllets test sebesar 0,644 dengan p < 0,05. Setelah butir-butir tersebut dianalisis sejumlah, terdapat 11 butir yang tidak layak analisis yaitu butir 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 32, dan butir 77 karena angka MSA < 0,5. Hasil pengujian ulang dengan 74 &117 butir menunjukkan angka KMO and Bartllets test sebesar 0,761 dengan p < 0,05, berarti mengalami kenaikan sebesar 0,117. Angka kumulatif muatan faktor sebesar 41,351 % dan nilai reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0, 9656 2) Uji coba kedua dengan 85 butir hasil perbaikan instrumen uji coba pertama, menunjukkan angka KMO and Bartllets test sebesar 0,874 dengan p < 0,05. Setelah butir-butir tersebut dikenakan sejumlah pengujian, terdapat 1 butir yang tidak layak analisis yaitu butir 11 karena angka MSA < 0,5 hasil pengujian ulang dengan 84 butir menunjukkan angka KMO and Bartllets test sebesar 0,876 dengan …

Penelitian ini bertujuan: mengembangkan dimensi pembentuk karakter nilai-nilai pada pendidikan konsumen, mengeksplorasi dimensi pendidikan nilai, mengetahui faktor-faktor lingkungan yang berpengaruh, dan pencapaian pembentukan karakter remaja melalui pendidikan konsumen.

Penelitian evaluasi reflektif ini membandingkan pendidikan nilai dari berbagai kurun waktu. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah export facto model kausal komparatif. Partisipan penelitian diambil secara acak, yang terdiri dari 15 guru PKn, 15 guru IPS Ekonomi, dan 9 guru PICK serta 744 siswa dari 39 kelas pada 10 SMP di Kodya Yogyakarta. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, regresi, analisis jalur, dan t-test.

Artikel ini ditulis berdasarkan hasil penelitian evaluasi keefektifan pembelajaran pada penerapan KBK di Program Keahlian Tata Busana Kota Yogyakarta.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian meliputi 671 siswa Program Keahlian Tata Busana SMK Negeri di Kota Yogyakarta yang telah melaksanakan KBK. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 137 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik proportional stratified random sampling menggunakan rumus Krejcie & Morgan. Data penelitian diperoleh dari dokumen nilai prestasi akademik siswa, yang meliputi nilai normatif, adaptif, dan produktif. Teknik analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan bantuan komputer paket program SPSS 10 for windows.

Populasi penelitian adalah respons siswa Madrasah Aliyah di Propinsi DIY terhadap tes yang dikembangkan. Sampel sekolah dan kelas sebagai uji coba ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik stratified proposional random sampling.
