The purpose of this transcendental phenomenological study was to understand the lived experiences of burnout among adjunct professors at higher education institutions. The central research question guiding this study was what are the lived experiences of burnout among adjunct professors at higher education institutions? This study found that adjunct professors burned-out due to their higher education institutions’ unreasonable work expectations, tight deadlines, and lack of resources. Higher education institutions (HEIs) are increasingly relying on digital technologies for classroom and organizational management, but this puts them at higher risk for information and communication (ICT security attacks. Recent studies show that HEIs have experienced more security breaches in ICT security composed of both cybersecurity an information security. A literature review was conducted to identify common ICT security practices in HEIs over the last decade. 11 journal articles were profiled and analyzed, revealing threats to HEIs’ security and protective measures in terms of organizational security, technological security, physical security, and standards and frameworks. Inclusive Leadership In Higher Education Institutions: The Effects On Innovative Behaviour And Psychological Contracts, I.M Martinez Leon, I. Olmedo-Cifuentes

Higher education institutions are characterised by generating knowledge and innovation, where teamwork and leadership are key. This paper focuses on inclusive leadership and analyses its impact on organisational conditions (perceived organisational support -POS-) and behavioural results (employees’ innovative behaviour and psychological contract breach) in European higher education institutions. Results show that inclusive leadership has a significant, direct and positive effect on employees’ innovative behaviour and POS. Inclusive leadership also has an indirect and positive effect on employees’ innovative behaviour and an indirect and negative effect on psychological contract breach, both mediated by POS. The requirement to transform higher education institutions (HEIs) to become inclusive entrepreneurial entities is underpinned by policy and by changes over past decades on the role and linkages of universities to their environment. This paper aims to understand how HEIs are transforming as inclusive entrepreneurial entities using the European University of Technology (EUt+) as a case in practice. The study draws on a conceptual framework developed by O’Brien, Cooney and Blenker (2019) for expanding university entrepreneurial ecosystems to under-represented communities. In this study, cybersecurity faculty and academic advisors from community colleges and 4-year universities in the southeast region of the United States completed a survey assessing attitudes about and support for articulation agreements and related transfer policies. Hypothesizing that professional structures shape attitudes and experiences, the researchers conducted an exploratory quantitative study with primarily descriptive analyses. The results reveal differences in attitudes between community college and 4-year stakeholders and between faculty and academic advisors. The results of this study are discussed in relation to faculty and advisor training and communication.

Research was conducted at Chapman University, Orange County, California, to explore the transformational leadership practices of Dr. James Doti, professor of Economics and president emeritus of Chapman University from 1991-2016, who led its transformation from a sleepy liberal arts college in Southern California to a midsized university of national stature. The theoretical framework for the study was the transformational leadership theory by Burns (1978) and Bass (1985). This study investigated the knowledge and perception of the ideology of baby-mama concept among the youths. Particularly, this paper assessed the knowledge of the concept of baby mama among youths and also their opinion on the acceptability of this style of family structure. The study employed a qualitative approach through an in-depth interview research method. Forty respondents between the ages of 16 and 40 years were selected across three educational institutions in Oyo state, south-west Nigeria. To Improve the Academy: A Journal of Educational Development

Educational developers around the world are employed in a range of settings and under different working conditions, including academic (faculty) positions and administrative (professional staff) roles. Curiously, in a survey of 1,000 developers from 38 countries, the authors find that a full 51% of developers in the United States are on administrative contracts, while only 16% are on employed as faculty—figures that are markedly out of kilter with the overall international data. This paper is a detailed analysis of entrepreneurship education in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) on the island of Ireland based on a survey of all twenty-six institutions. The paper examines the number and types of courses and activities currently being offered to students and concludes that the vast majority of the existing provision is quite traditional in its approach. Adaptation is an important theme in ECU's history between 1995 and 2005, but the university's transmutation in that decade was revolutionary as well as evolutionary. Organisational reform was deliberate, broad, swift and consequential. It was accomplished in the face of significant resistance. The impact was measurable. ECU was ineradicably altered by means of a change management operation which, in the strictly corporate world, might well be described as 'reengineering'- a radical redesign process to 'achieve dramatic improvements in critical, contemporary measures of performance'.2

The centenary of Edith Cowan University is a significant event in the history of Western Australia: it celebrates the opening of the State's first tertiary institution, Claremont Teachers' College, in 1902. Being a primary teachers' college, most of its students were young women. This book, Claremont Cameos, tells their story.
