This collection consists of a variety of materials that are organized into the following categories: artwork, objects, scrapbooks, and textiles. Some highlights include former president of the Lesley College Board of Trustees Livingston Stebbins’ family coat of arms, the trowel that former Lesley College President Trentwell Mason White used during the dedication ceremony of Trentwell Mason White Hall, a gym suit from the 1930s-1940s, and a green Lesley blazer. Also included are several scrapbooks, one of which chronicles the life of a Lesley School student in 1929.

The collection contains course catalogs produced annually by Lesley College (the undergraduate school), which had the following name changes: the Lesley Normal School, 1909-1920; the Lesley School, 1920-1944; Lesley College, 1944 - present. The course catalogs contains names of administrative officers and the Board of Trustees, faculty, a brief history of Lesley College, description of library facilities, instructions for admission and registration, requirements for degrees, description of types of financial assistance, tuition, and fees. The collection contains the following years: 1909-1910, 1913-1914, 1917-1918, 1919-1920, 1922-1923 to 1923-1924, 1926-1927 to 1940-1941, 1943-1944 to 1944-1945, 1947-1948 to 2004-2005, 2006-2007 to 2009-2010.

Formerly called The Lesleyan, this collection consists of yearbooks published annually by Lesley College for the graduating classes between the years 1924 to 2008. The yearbooks contain photographs of students, staff, faculty and organizations, providing a valuable historical view of Lesley University throughout the years. The yearbook was not published in 2007 and 2009-present.

This collection is comprised of newspapers written and published by Lesley College students between 1938 and 1983.

“The Lantern” was a weekly, student-run newspaper published during the school year. It featured articles about the undergraduate school, including campus news and events, faculty and staff appointments, stories on student activities, editorials, letters to the editor, music, plays and movie reviews, and local advertisers. This series includes issues from 1938-1939, 1948-1949, and 1954-1971.

“The Educator” was another weekly student newspaper published by Lesley College during the school year, featuring education philosophy and news, letters to the editor, faculty and student news, campus …

The handbooks contains the academic calendar, Lesley facts, campus maps, information from the student government association, student services (including health services), campus regulations (including residence hall rules), academic regulations, academic awards, scholarships, loans, student activities (including religious groups and clubs), names of administrative officers and the Board of Trustees, phone numbers, and a listing of each student by class.
