While traditional yoga programs focus on static stretching and core stability, Essentrics yoga relies more heavily on full-body stretch and strengthening regiments coupled with dynamic movements such as ceiling reaches, side-to-side bends, lunges, and side leg lifts. Through the incorporation of more dynamic movements, Essentrics yoga is thought to elicit greater improvements in overall body composition, flexibility, and balance. People often experience lower limb injury due to sport activities or falls in their daily life. Core stability exercise may contribute to prevent or minimize the chronic discomfort in skeletal muscle. PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of core stability exercise for subjects who have mild discomfort of the lower limb.
