Global Business Strategy is a complex and multifaceted subject which is challenging to teach to undergraduate students because of their lack of real-world work experience and the requirement to adopt an international perspective in all thought processes and activities. The purpose of this article is to present a semester-long teaching approach that is based on the assumption that global strategy content and behavioural skills must be simultaneously addressed when teaching the subject. The academic literature arguing that there is an urgent requirement for businesses to become more sustainable is rapidly expanding. There is also a demonstrated need for managers to develop a better understanding of sustainability and the appropriate strategies required to improve business sustainability.
