This action research project examined the various perspectives around effective board governance of current and former board members and administrators working in covenantal Christian schools. The survey, administered to participants working with covenantal schools across Canada, contained fifteen questions related to effective board governance components. Participants were also able to provide anecdotal qualitative feedback if desired. The results of the study revealed that there is notable agreement as to the importance of various components related to effective board governance in covenantal schools; however, there are a few areas where boards in covenantal schools may have opportunity for growth. This quantitative research study used a student engagement survey to measure the affective, behavioral, and cognitive engagement of students at three small suburban Christian schools that offer career and technical education to their students. The survey asked students to rate the level of their agreement to statements about their engagement in learning. The students represented all four grades of high school. Survey results were analyzed to compare engagement based upon participation in CTE courses, including courses that offered dual credit. This mixed-methods study began with a survey sent to all CSI superintendents followed up by interviews with a purposeful sample of six school leaders to discover perceived relationship models that exist between Christian schools and homeschool families. Analysis of the qualitative and quantitative data was done with the intention of gaining a deeper understanding of the current relationship models that exist between Christian schools and homeschool families and to understand the benefits and barriers of the given relationship models. This action research project investigated the reasons for the current teacher shortage in the Federation of Protestant Reformed Christian Schools. The research was a descriptive survey study with parents, teachers, and students serving as respondents. Three surveys were designed to measure perspectives about teaching and motivations for both becoming and remaining teachers among members of Christian schools from a Reformed Christian background. The survey results indicated some correlation with previous research, especially concerning the financial aspects of teaching.
