Undergraduate University Honors Capstones

This study involved 32 deaf college students enrolled at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. All were given a survey that asked questions about their mainstream experience and evaluated their acculturation style. Individuals who were deaf-identified tended to show more negative mainstream experiences than those who were bicultural. Suggestions for more research were discussed.
