The sample of study consisted of (49) male and female teachers. The research instrument consists of a questionnaires include (85) items specific to (5) domain. Cette recherche a pour objet, l’étude de l’insertion des citations dans un travail de recherche. Cette polyphonie discursive est génératrice de nombreuses erreurs chez les étudiants chercheurs. L’analyse d’un corpus constitué d’une dizaine de mémoires a relevé les lacunes rédactionnelles dans ce domaine et les a catégorisées dans le but d’y remédier ultérieurement. Les résultats ont montré que les unes de ces lacunes sont d’ordre linguistique ou discursif et les autres relèvent surtout de l’usage de la citation dans la construction du sens de la recherche.
