This study investigated the achievement of high school students who worked part-time. The following hypotheses were investigated: 1. Students who work 15 or more hours a week have a lower-grade point average than those who do not work or who work fewer than 15 hours a week; 2. The absenteeism rate is higher for students who work 15 or more hours a week than those students who do not work or who work fewer than 15 hours a week; 3.
