The School of Education (SED) received several recognitions and approvals, including excellent faculty and staff, recognition for the science division, recognition for Andrews students' top scores on the state teaching exam, and recognition for an average pass rate of 95.8 percent for Andrews elementary and secondary education graduates, with a 100 percent pass rate on content exams in English, reading, history, chemistry, secondary mathematics, Spanish, elementary education, English as a second language, language arts (elementary), integrated science (elementary), visual arts education and music education. .

The North American Division’s 2013 school-opening report showed that out of 838 K-12 Seventh- day Adventist schools, 490 (58.5 percent) are small schools, with only one, two, or three teachers, multigrade classrooms, and no fulltime principal. Even in schools with four or more teachers, it is common to find multigrade classrooms.

Can small schools with multigrade classrooms be as effective in fostering achievement as larger schools with single- grade classrooms? "the Adventist health message has been shared in many different ways by various institutions of the church. However, rarely is there collaboration across multiple organizations. This article describes how hospitals, universities and church entities worked together to reach the community with healthy lifestyle options. Basically the collaboration worked through four foundational activities: sharing of resources, training of health workers, operating lifestyle centers, and using the existing union governance structure. the collaboration provided outreach services in the following ways: lifestyle programs, wellness expo, health and gospel evangelism, mass media, and cooperation with NGOs."
