The aim of the study is to create an educational program based on "STEAM” and assess its effectiveness to improve programming skills and computing thinking in middle female school. The research adopted a semi-experimental design, with two groups, control and experimental, and several tools have been created for that research:

- A test to assess the cognitive aspect of programming skills.

- A note card to assess the performance aspect of programming skills.

- A scale to assess computer thinking skills.

In order to learn about ways to ensure that literary practices are equitable for all students, the authors joined an educators’ book club to read Cultivating Genius: An Equity Framework for Culturally and Historically Responsive Literacy by Gholdy Muhammad. Social awareness is a key component of social-emotional learning and is often underrepresented in kindergarten curriculum. Students who struggle with social awareness are at a greater risk for antisocial behaviors, low academic performance, diminished self-efficacy, low motivation, and low adaptability. Jean Piagets’ cognitive-developmental theory places kindergarten-age students in the preoperational stage of development. At this stage, children are egocentric, exhibit centrated thought, and struggle to use perspective and empathic skills. Kindness, problem-solving, and maintaining positive relationships are all rooted in social awareness and require students to move away from egocentric thinking. The hospitality industry has faced and continues to face major challenges in hiring and retaining the workforce needed for recovery from the pandemic and future growth. The goal of this research was to better understand these changing needs so that hospitality educators can supply the industry with well-rounded graduates attuned to the transformed hospitality operating environment. Focus group research was conducted with 22 senior hospitality managers in summer 2021; participants also completed an inventory of 28 skills and attributes commonly associated with the delivery of hospitality services. The relationship between reading skills and reading strategies is important to consider as teachers design individual strategy lessons to support bigger concepts or skills that elementary students need to apply. This article highlights three reading strategy lessons that were designed and implemented by preservice teachers to support students in the elementary classroom. The reading strategies supported the skills of communication, summarizing, and reading comprehension. The lessons were effectively planned and executed because they connected to the students’ lives and interests, facilitated communication, and focused on the lesson objective.

This study reports on the results of a job announcement analysis of ninety-three (93) instructional design jobs. Job announcements were collected five (5) times: three times in September 2016, and twice in October 2016. The job analysis focused on identifying key responsibilities and qualifications for instructional designers across the following industries: Corporate, Government / Military, Health, Higher Education, and Non-Profit. The results are discussed, as well as supported and contrasted with a literature review that includes reports on surveyed instructional design professionals.

This study examined whether students were reaching automaticity with single digit multiplication facts. A fourteen question interview was used to collect data. The first three questions asked the student basic information about themselves and their current math teacher. The next seven questions were math facts. The math facts chosen for the interview were a range of difficulty, starting with a simple problem like 1 x 9 and increasing in difficulty to 6 x 9. The construction industry is of strategic importance to any economy, as it delivers the building and infrastructural needs of society; it is also a major provider of employment. The over-reliance on construction was a contributing factor to the collapse of the Irish economy and employment in construction fell to under 50% of its 2007 peak as a consequence.
