Sharia Supervisory Board Reports (SSBRs) have an interest in convincing the public that entities supervised by a Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) are sharia-compliant and reflective of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) practices. Failure in public convincing will be detrimental to Islamic banks’ reputation as well as the SSB’s image and credibility. This study aimed to critically assess how the SSB produces reports as texts to persuade the public using Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). Drawing on Samuel P. Huntington’s three phases of self-regulation used to determine if an occupation qualifies as a profession, this article focuses on the third phase of policing and removing those who fail to uphold the standards set forth in the first two phases. It reviews how the US Army implemented this phase following the Civil War through the post–Vietnam War years and the implications for the officer corps.

Global health engagement, an underutilized strategy rooted in the strengths of soft power persuasion, can lead to more military-to-military cooperation training, help establish relationships that can be relied on when crises develop, stabilize fragile states, and deny violent extremist organizations space for recruiting and operations. Examining Chinese efforts worldwide to curry favor and influence and the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, this article shows health as a medium is a very compelling and advantageous whole-of-government approach to national security policy concerns.

Statistical evidence suggests Army battalion commanders are significant determinants of the retention of their lieutenants—especially high-potential lieutenants. Appreciative Inquiry is a strength-based approach to organizational change that builds on positive psychology as well as social construction of language. The study aimed at identifying the impact of electronic control on the level of employees’ performance in Jordanian government financing institutions. the researchers surveyed all 7 government financing institutions. A questionnaire which includes (34) paragraphs to collect data was desgined the sample consisted of 113 employees. Analysis of the effect of control dimensions (Inputs, operations, employee’s behavior) on employees’ performance were analyzed using the statistical package of social sciences (SPSS).

The study found astatistically significant effect .05 of all electronic control dimensions were found which leads to improving performance of employees in government financing institutions. There is asigificant impact.05 of …
