The obligation of graduate students, including Master of Management (MM) students, to publish in academic journal need to be approached wisely. Thus far, research conducted by MM students for their theses has been perceived as lacking practical contribution. This issue is also felt in business and management research in general. However, MM students are expected, in fact, to become profesionals who can offer solution to real problems faced by their organizations. The design science method could be an alternative for MM students to conduct research that is both close to practical application and still offers theoretical contribution.

Relationship Between Transformational Leadership And Employees' Creativity With Psychological Empowerment As Mediator, Nurshahira Ibrahim, Azman Ismail, Norazila Mat, Tugba Erhan

Research Aims: This study examines the mediating effect of psychological empowerment on the relationship between transformational leadership and employee creativity in a financial organisation in Peninsular Malaysia.

Design/Methodology/Approach: Quantitative methods were employed in this study. Two hundred questionnaires were distributed to employees of Islamic financial institutions in Malaysia. Of these, only 153 questionnaires were usable. Random sampling and partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) techniques were utilised in data analysis.

Research Aims: The present research aims to investigate factors that significantly influence customers’ behavioural intention to use digital banking products. Following prior work on social media marketing and the influence of conglomerate group benefits, in addition to providing a comprehensive understanding, the research incorporates three established theories: the Theory of Planned Behaviour, the Technology Acceptance Model, and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology.

Research Aims: This research aims to identify the characteristics of Generation Z e-wallet customers in DKI Jakarta; analyse the effect of push-pull-mooring effects on switching intention, the moderating effect of the mooring effects on the relationship between push effects and pull effects with switching intention, and the effect of switching intention on the switching behaviour of Generation Z e-wallet customers.

Organizational Inertia, Digital Capabilities, Digital Transformation, And Firm Competencies, Adhi Ari Utomo, Mira Maulida, Soebowo Musa

Research Aims: This research aims to investigate the impact of organizational inertia on digital capabilities and digital transformation to optimize firm competencies.

Design/Methodology/Approach: The dataset was produced through a quantitative survey of 125 firms in Indonesia using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) to analyse the data.

Research Findings: The results of this study indicate that organizational inertia indirectly impacts firm competencies through digital capabilities and digital transformation. Organizational inertia impacts digital capabilities, not digital transformation, whereas digital capabilities impact digital transformation and a firm’s competencies.

Assessing The Impact Of Financial Obstacles On Manufacturing Firm's Capacity Utilization: Bayesian Approach, Arab Dahir Hassan, Razim Ozcan

The Indonesian Capital Market Review

This study aims to investigate the relationship between financial obstacles and the capacity utilization of manufacturing firms. This study departs from previous studies in the literature by employing Bayesian linear regression analysis. The results demonstrate that financial constraints have a considerable negative effect on the capacity utilization of manufacturing enterprises, but access to credit lines has a positive effect. The sample consists of 1,494 private manufacturing firms in 31 Europe & Central Asian countries.
