Their open, customized textbook for Statistical Methods (MGT 235) is completely free. It has been used by over 400 students and saved them an estimated $150,000! This case study focuses on Mattel, Inc., a prominent company in the toy industry. To complete the case study, we conducted a strategic audit utilizing different theories and principles used in management. We conducted significant research using publicly available information, including the company’s website, SEC filings, news articles, industry analysis, and more. The goal of the report is to analyze data and use a real-world company to apply management concepts.
We looked at many factors for Mattel, including industry analysis, external analysis, internal analysis, performance analysis, competitive dynamics, business level strategy, and corporate level strategy to complete the case study. …

2. Require academic advisors to have at least one conversation with every student about studying abroad (never assume a student is not interested or unable to go)
3. Overtly feature first-generation study abroad students in social media and Hogs Abroad website.
4. Network interested students with students who have completed study abroad
5. Offer a promotional study-abroad program for first-generation students
6. Promote funding information and add more first-generation specific scholarships

A partir de la “Pregunta Problema”: ¿De qué manera la calidad y el desempeño institucional de las universidades incide en la decisión estudiantil de desertar o permanecer estudiando? se indagó las razones (o causas) institucionales (gestión y calidad educativa) por las que ciertas universidades colombianas han logrado disminuir sus tasas de deserción.
