There is increasing interest in the application of ubiquitous computing concepts to the use of mobile and wireless technologies in business. This paper presents the results of a conceptual study of the literature in ubiquitous and mobile computing and related areas. The outcome of the conceptual study is a context model of an identified Mobile Work Domain (MWD) which is focussed on mobile commerce and the use of new technologies and approaches to business processes in the workplace.
