Environmental risks management and assessment become essential in dealing with environmental pollution events when we pursue green environment and sustainable transportation policies. Hence, this article investigates the environmental risk perceptions of residents living in neighborhood of east Keelung Port in Taiwan. Using surveyed data collected from questionnaires, the multiple linear regression (MLR) model was used to examine the research hypotheses. We obtained several important findings in this empirical study. Firstly, the risk perceptions index of local residents indicates that pollutions produced in port operations become serious threats to health.
