Fred Luthans is the George Holmes University Distinguished Professor of Management at the University of Nebraska– Lincoln. He was president of the Academy of Management in 1986, received the Academy’s Distinguished Educator Award in 1997, was named in 2000 as a member of the Academy’s Hall of Fame for his numerous publications in AMJ and Academy of Management Review, and received an honorary doctorate from DePaul University and the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Iowa, from which he received all of his degrees.
