Recommendations resulted from a wide range of concepts discussed by the Foundation and by the fourteen professionals who participated in the workshop. The Queen Emma Foundation's concern for the future of Waikiki is paralleled by other groups in Honolulu, and these sketches incorporate many of the ideas that have been advanced in recent years.
