Lauren Toomey has been building her business, Lauren Hope Photography, for the past six years. During this time, she has developed a website as well as a social media presence, but has yet to establish a clear brand identity. This project served as motivation for Lauren to define her brand identity, which allowed her to create branding guidelines that could then be implemented across print and digital media.

In the height of the pandemic I gained interest in jewelry-making. Needing a new hobby, I researched the many methods of making jewelry and soon began practicing the craft. Sand casting became a form of meditation, and I hope to gain more experience in silver smithing in the near future. For my senior project, I wanted to combine my personal, creative abilities with the skills I have learned through my Graphic Communication courses. This project showcases my design and business skills, while building a unique brand that will be a part of my future career.

Most online swimwear companies follow a fast-fashion business model which prioritizes mass production and offers affordable prices. The purpose of this study was to identify the key components needed to make a startup. This included created making a landing page and also driving traffic to the page through Facebook. On the landing page section, there was a test to see what would provide the best user experience using Squarespace. The purpose of this study was to determine the customer preferences between buying produce from local farmers’ markets verses buying produce from supermarkets within San Luis Obispo County and determine if the application of a delivery service of said produce would be successful. Surveys were conducted with one hundred and sixty individuals in San Luis Obispo County. Participants were asked a series of questions about purchasing preference, interest in a produce delivery service, and about other information they may want to know before purchasing produce.
