This document is a thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the Master of Fine Arts degree in theatre. It is a written account of the author Matthew A. Gilbertson's process in creating the technical direction of Minnesota State University, Mankato's production of Little Women, The Musical in the fall of 2017.
