We had a group of 48 people of which 39 met at BYU-H parking lot at 7:30 PM. to have a bus transport us to the airport for our trip to N. Z. Many family members came to say good-bye, wish us well and to have a safe journey. The leaders of our group are Bro. Colin and Raewin Shelford, John Elkington, Riley Moffat and Rex Frandsen. We left Honolulu at 12:30 a.m., 5 long hours after leaving Laie. At some point the 6 ½-hour flight to Nadi we crossed the International Dateline and lost a day, arriving at Nadi at 5:30 a.m. on April 16th.
