"Current Charts: Chosen Lands", by Richard Fisher, was the title of an exhibition ho s ted by the Fine Arts Gallery from February 9 through March 1, 1978. It comprised sixty-six works spatially and formally separated into two groups by the two levels of the gallery. The lower level presented forty-one works, primarily surface castings of specific sites along the Massachusetts coast, while the upper level housed the artist's Eco-Earth , an incomplete series of twenty-five imaginative drawings.

This particular guide featured the work of artists Alice Aycock, Jody Pinto, George Trakas, Siah Armajani, and Charles Simonds. Quintessence number one showcases the first year of a six year long project.
