In Perry Hoberman's electronic garden, evocative of happier and simpler times when the American Dream was the "General Electric Home," the concept of sculpture is being redefined and stretched to its limits. Hoberman, in a sort of tribute to Michael Faraday's electronic genius, recycles outdated and, at times, archaic-looking household appliances and tools in our room-sized installation. "Current Charts: Chosen Lands", by Richard Fisher, was the title of an exhibition ho s ted by the Fine Arts Gallery from February 9 through March 1, 1978. It comprised sixty-six works spatially and formally separated into two groups by the two levels of the gallery. The lower level presented forty-one works, primarily surface castings of specific sites along the Massachusetts coast, while the upper level housed the artist's Eco-Earth , an incomplete series of twenty-five imaginative drawings.

During the spring and summer of 1975 Wright State University organized a cooperative workshop/exhibitions program with three other schools and, in 1976, received the support of the National Endowment for the Arts.
