The adaptive reuse of buildings within culturally rich historic city centers where urban regeneration solutions are crucial. Leveraging cultural heritage through architectural means as a vital mode of revitalization at the building scale…which will propagate out to influence the urban condition. Currently in Treme, New Orleans the beginning phases of major gentrification are taking place unchecked by legislation. It is kicking lifelong residents out and destroying the local culture.
