Problem
Both vocational choice and value system development are processes that continue to dominate one's life-style. How do decisions in one area relate to those in the other? This study examined the value patterns held by individuals in different occupational environments, and investigated the relationship between these value patterns and vocational choices.
Method
Rokeach's Value Survey was administered to 180 participants from 49 counties in southern Michigan. Their individual value rankings or profiles were classified according to the occupational environments as defined by Holland's theory of vocational choice. Problem. The teaching of reading in elementary schools of America has long been a subject of intense interest to the American public. The comprehension component of the criterion referenced reading program, Wisconsin Design for Reading Skills Development, is a product being developed to teach reading skills. Problem. An important concern of administrators is assessing the role of values in education. A high degree of values congruency between board chairmen and educational administrators seems essential for educational institutions to function effectively. The purpose of the study was to assess the degree of values congruency between Seventh- day Adventist board chairmen and educational administrators.
Method. The Allport, Vernon, and Lindzey Study of Values scale, which furnished relative scores for six value classifications— aesthetic, economic, political, religious, social, and theoretical— was selected for the study. A personal data sheet was developed for the subjects of the study.

Problem. The personality of employees is a vital key to understanding and improving the present correctional system. It was the purpose of the present study to assess, describe, and analyze a selected group of state correctional employees.
Method. The Bipolar Psychological Inventory and several demographic questions were used in assessing the personality of correctional employees and inmates. Cattell's Coefficient of Pattern Similarity (rp) was employed to measure and analyze several characteristics of correctional employee sub-groups. Three hundred sixty-three employees and four hundred forty-eight inmates were studied.
