Much of the research examining drug trafficking between countries has been done at the regional level. Although these two drugs are only produced within a small number of countries, they end up being used all over the world. Mobile applications have become ubiquitious with the increase in the popularity and computational power of mobile devices. They can now support rich multimedia user interactions. This project consists of the design and implementaiton of an Android application that renders and animates a three-dimensional model of a human head. The test is synthesized using an Android Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine. The application successfully implements a novel solution for the animated speech synchronization and opens the door for further work in the field of interactive animation. The project can be extended to become an interface for virtual remote communication or animated text messaging.

This study analyzes Carlo Petronio's paper, An Algorithm Producing Hyperbolicity Equations for a Link Complement in S³. Using the figure eight knot as an example, we will explain how Petronio's algorithm was able to decompose the knot complement of an alternating knot into tetrahedra. Then, using the vertex invariants of these tetrahedra, we will explain how Petronio was able to create hyperbolicity equations.

The purpose of this study was to demonstrate means-efficacy through mastery experience. Traditionally self-efficacy has been shown to influence an individual's expectation about their performance. Students participated in typing tests with past experience using a high or low quality keyboard. The following study utilized a priori contrasts and one-way ANOVAS to analysis data. One hundred ninety-six students from California State University, San Bernardino participated in the study.

The postcranial skeleton of the varanopid synapsid aerosaurus wellesi is reconstructed based on several specimens including partly articulated material of an apparently fully adult specimen. Comparisons are made with other known varanopid taxa, reaffirming its position as a basal varanondontine.

This project will employ the use of multi-processor technology to reconstruct image data as fast as possible. Two-dimensional image reconstruction technique reconstructs images by solving a linear equation: A x x =b, where A is the path matrix of proton histories, b is electron matrix of the image, and x is the matrix of image. One row in matrix A represents one beam. Matrix A consists of a number of beam projections to the image, and each projection consists of a number of beams. Contains source code.
