The purpose of this study was to look at the factors that lead to disruption in the adoption of special needs children. Families that adopt special needs children may or may not be aware that they need post adoption services and may be reluctant to ask for them even when they are experiencing difficulty.

The purpose of this study was to examine how foster parents contributed to the wellness and permanency of an autistic foster child and to know if foster caregivers were adequately equipped to care for a child with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Foster parents of children with ASD were interviewed to gather their opinions and perceptions about whether their autistic foster children were receiving adequate services and if these services increased the child's safety and quality of life. How Independent Living Skills Services Affect The Outcomes Of Emancipated Foster Youth In Attaining Self-Sufficiency, Tracy Burks, Sandra Fernandez

The purpose of this study is to highlight the services that are beneficial and highlight additional services that are needed in order to facilitate a successful transition for emancipating foster youth. This study shows how self-sufficiency in emancipating foster youth is affected by the services provided by the Independent Living Skills (ILP) program. Face-to-face interviews were completed with ILP participants as data collected source and quantitative research was conducted using surveys and focus groups to obtain firsthand information and personal experiences from former foster youth themselves.

The present study aims to discover how a variety of world English, like Philippine English, serves Filipino immigrants who use it here in the United States. In order to conduct this investigation, a series of one-on-one interviews with ten Filipino immigrants was conducted. This thesis examines the attitudes of a group of adult Filipino immigrants to the U.S. towards the English language vis-a-vis their Filipino languages, and their experiences using English in the Philippines and the U.S.

The purpose of this study will focus on the patient's attitudes about their treatment. There is a certain stigma attached to dialysis that makes it an undesirable form of treatment. Individuals on dialysis may feel dependent and vulnerable. In addition, hospitals and dialysis clinics can be an unwelcoming and intimidating place. A person's belief about their treatment will influence how well they adhere to it.

The purpose of this study is to characterize the water chemistry of Lake Gregory in Crestline, California. The collection of water samples occurred a short time after the end of the summer recreational season in the late fall. Several chemical parameters were measured in an effort to determine the overall water quality during this time.

The purpose of this study was to examine the current research on mergers and acquisitions which includes organizational factors, such as communication processes, and their impact on employee reactions. The current study addresses this issue through a simulated M&A announcement laboratory experiment with 156 CSUSB undergraduate students.
