This study explores the private sector’s perceptions and adoption of the mandated e-invoicing system, a key component of Egypt’s digital tax system. Twenty-three qualitative semi-structured interviews with the private sector to answer the research question: How does the private sector perceive the mandatory e-invoicing system adopted by the Egyptian government? Furthermore, the study explored the perceived impact of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT)’s four aspects on the private sector’s perceptions and adoption of the system, including performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions. Why do some rebel groups successfully establish stable and sustainable states after civil wars, while others fail? Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are two African countries that experienced long and bloody civil wars. This thesis employed a qualitative approach, combining both desk research and in-depth interviews with 11 participants: nine Tunisian migrant workers and two Tunisian migrant experts. The thesis examined labor shortage in France during the pandemic and the extent to which Tunisian migrant workers managed to bridge the labor shortage relying on the Segmented Labor market theory which was originally developed by Piore (1979), and the two concepts: System Effects and Systemic Resilience. The purpose of this study was to explore factors that impact children with special healthcare needs’ (CSHCN) health insurance coverage and out-of-pocket medical expenses. The Ecological Model for Health Promotion developed by McLeroy et al. (1988) was the guiding theoretical framework for this study. Using data from the 2020 National Survey of Children’s Health, I conducted descriptive statistics, logistic regressions, and multilevel modeling analyses to determine if health insurance coverage and out-of-pocket expenses for CSHCN differed by individual, family, and community, organization, and policy factors.
