As multinational food and beverage companies experience an increased demand to act mindfully in a changing globalized world, many are improving their corporate social responsibility (CSR) techniques. The specific problem to be addressed is the socio-economic barriers that have resulted in the failure of multinational food and beverage companies to implement effective corporate social responsibility techniques in China. Multinational food and beverage companies have used CSR strategies for years to address environmental and social concerns while always pursuing their corporate objectives.
