The KAP is a representative survey conducted on a particular population to identify the knowledge (K), attitudes (A) and practices (P) of a population on a specific topic – landmines and Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) in our case. In the majority of KAP studies, data are gathered orally by an interviewer who uses a structured, standardised questionnaire.
