Aim: to study the features of adaptive adjustment of the body of weightlifters in various geographical climate conditions and the influence of training factors, physiotherapeutic agents and adaptogens of plant origin on these processes. Method of research: Analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, questionnaires, instrumental method, pedagogical testing and observation, pedagogical experiment, statistical methods of results processing. This exploratory case study examines the impact of text messaging on mentoring relationships when used as an outreach between school counselors and high school students, where established relationships are lacking. An SMS gateway was used to mediate communication between school counselors (N=2) and students (N=5) over a three-month timeframe. The SMS gateway converted email, sent from counselors, to text messages, which were received on mobile devices of students and allowed students to respond back to counselors. Findings indicate that the use of text messaging may ease scheduling of face-to-face meetings between counselors and students, but evidence does not support any …

© 2020, PsychOpen. All rights reserved. The present study serves as an exploratory investigation of the role of social class in responses to the threat of future debt. Previous work has shown that individuals of high and low subjective social class differ in the ways that they respond to a broad range of threats and uncertainties about the future. Across three studies, we found that lower social class individuals expect more future debt and suffer greater attendant stress than higher class individuals (Study 1). The perpetual oscillations of ocean waves produce potential energy, which can be converted to electrical energy with the help of direct drive linear generators. The fluctuating generated power poses a major challenge when it is supplied to the power grid. This paper presents the design of an extended parameterisations of H∞ controller for off grid operation of a microgrid. The microgrid consists of distributed generation units, filters and local loads. The filters are used to achieve accurate sinusoidal output voltage. However, loads which are connected to the microgrid are parametrically uncertain. Hence, it undergoes with unknown loads uncertainties. These unknown loads may create unknown loads harmonics, non-linearities which may reduce the voltage and current profile of the microgrid.
