In 2013, the National Science Foundation's Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace program awarded a Frontier grant to a consortium of four institutions, led by Dartmouth College, to enable trustworthy cybersystems for health and wellness. As of this writing, the Trustworthy Health and Wellness (THaW) project's bibliography includes more than 130 significant publications produced with support from the THaW grant; these publications document the progress made on many fronts by the THaW research team. Somatics Research Bibliography: A Working Tool For Somatics And Somatic Psychology, Eleanor Criswell Hanna
International Journal of Transpersonal Studies
Many years ago when Somatics magazine was young, it occurred to me that it would be valuable to collect and publish research article references in Somatics magazine that were relevant to the different somatics disciplines to encourage the development of the field. There were next to no studies devoted to Somatics itself, but there were many studies devoted to the elements of somatic practices. Somatics is a multidisciplinary field. It builds on the research findings from many fields, such as anatomy, physiology, neurophysiology, psychology, dance, biomechanics, and education. The references are selected to be suggestive to the interested researcher and …

Library Scholars Manuscripts
In the research process, the actual searching for information often takes longer than anticipated and, especially for research with deadlines, encroaches on valuable time for reading and analysis. This collection of sources on the French Encyclopédie serves to reduce the amount of time spent on finding resources, allowing scholars to focus on individual research needs. Within this searchable annotated bibliography are select English sources that are all available online; however, many can also be found in print journals and books. While containing a variety of topics and authors, significant subject areas are digital humanities, censorship, plagiarism, and authorship and notable …

What We Talk About When We Talk About Quality: A Librarian And Instructor Compare How They Assess Students' Sources, Elizabeth Pickard, Sarah Sterling
Collaborative Librarianship
This case study explores and compares how a librarian and an instructor evaluated the quality of bibliographies students produced for the instructor’s class. The ethnographic study attempted to unearth nuances in the respective practical approaches librarian and instructor took to assess a source’s quality as well as differences in what librarian and instructor might mean by “quality.” Themes emerged as indicators of quality that librarian and instructor applied differently in terms of frequency and weight. Findings also included that librarian and instructor looked to different aspects of citations to demonstrate common values, such as thoroughness, and to reflect the quality …

The History Of Martha J. Lamb: Her Origin, Rise, And Progress., Mary Collins
Dissertations, Theses, and Capstone Projects
On June 16, 1883, Harper’s Weekly ran a story foreshadowing the transformation of the City of New York from the island of Manhattan to a massive metropolis, the opening of the Brooklyn Bridge. Another article on the page announced that Martha J. Lamb “has become editor of the ‘The Magazine of American History.’” It does not mention that she was also president of the company purchasing the journal. Ten years later, just a few months after her death, Mrs. Lamb’s great work, her History of the City of New York: Its Origin, Rise, and Progress, was included in …
